Machine Operator

Job Description

We are currently supporting a company that is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator. This role is integral to the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality in operations. Monday to Friday, 1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm

Day to day duties:

  • Work with safety in mind at all times, being aware of existing hazards and using appropriate methods to decrease or eliminate safety risks through various forms of PPE and engineered safeguards.
  • Primarily serve as an assistant but also be responsible for being creative, forward-thinking, accurate, thorough, efficient, self-motivating, and able to prep and QC own projects.
  • Competently operate machines such as sanders, buffers, paint guns, paint matching and mixing equipment, paint booths, and all other CSD hand tools and equipment.
  • Regularly clean areas around equipment and organize tools to ensure a professional atmosphere and guarantee a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Occasionally process inventory, restock shelves, and provide purchase requisitions to the Production Manager.
  • Disassemble and reassemble products when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in operating sanding and buffer machines.
  • Ability to match paint colors accurately.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools.
  • Maintain a clean work area consistently.
  • Track inventory effectively.
  • Capability to assemble and disassemble products efficiently.
